Summary

A Woman is a rightful member of modern society. She tries to be maximally realized, to develop, to be independent, to develop her career. In parallel with all this, she also tries to be a good mother. Modern woman can balance and develop these two directions of her life equally. To help modern woman the democratic world has come up with the idea of positive discrimination, according to which special conditions are created for a woman at the legislative level so that she can have and raise a child without refusing career development. The article discusses the essence of maternity leave and the current situation in Georgia in this regard.
